Gieske has been around since 1921, providing the citizens and businesses of Kansas City with high-quality, sustainable metal projects. What started as ventilation services has evolved into various projects, including custom blacksmith products and decorative items.

We are proud to see our projects throughout our community in any way we can provide. Here are a few of our more recent products you could find in Kansas City!

Providing the Foundation for Art

At Gieske, we have many of our own art and decorative projects placed around Kansas City, but we are always thrilled to be able to help other artists display their craftwork. Kansas City is full of creative, positively impactful individuals. We were honored to help Paul Dorrell with the Leopold Gallery display a beautiful piece in front of the Olathe Library to honor Kansas City’s late mayor, Michael Copeland. The piece is a 16-foot tall, 3,000-pound statue made out of 220 glass spires. We were able to make the base of the sculpture, ensuring that it would stay in place through any type of weather or force.

Did You Know We Create Things for the Kansas City Chiefs?

We are from Kansas City; of course, we love the Kansas City Chiefs! That’s why we are always so thrilled to be able to help them with any kind of metal project they might need. We have made multiple pieces for them in the past, and our most recent were sign holders that help direct crowds around the stadium. We applied a mirror finish to the sign holders, helping them pop out amongst the people to ensure they were easy to spot.

Memorializing Those Who Made a Difference

Our community makes us who we are, and we would not be a proper Kansas City business without acknowledging the people who make this city great. We recently had the opportunity to help memorialize fallen officer James Muhlbauer and his partner, K-9 Officer Champ. We created a memorial sign for the two of them. It was used at a dedication ceremony at the training center that the KCMO Police Department put on to commemorate both officers. We were honored to be a part of remembering Office Muhlbauer and K-9 Champ.

Fabricating Beauty Around Kansas City

When our community comes to us with metal fabrication requests, we are always honored to take them on. We love to have a hand in making this city and the businesses within it more beautiful, memorable, and sustainable. Whether that is helping other artists thrive or being a part of our great city’s football team, we are thrilled to take on any type of metal project!
